I was on newegg.com and I was looking through the prices for ram (I have a 12 inch G4 1.5ghz) and there is quite a big difference in the price range, from 80 to 150. Does it matter if I get the 80 dollar stuff or the 150? Or is it all the same, and will it all work with my powerbook?

As long as it is quality Ram it should not matter. I have used Samsung, Micron (Crucial) in my past ibooks and powerbooks without a problem. PQI memory has also gotten good reviews from working in Apple laptops sothis memory should work fine.

Even though your Powerbook takes PC2700 DDR ram, you can sometimes find PC3200 for cheaper and it will work just fine in your Powerbook, but will run at PC2700 speeds.
