control-option keys

real noob question but in logic pro 7 they keep talking about these keys and i know the ctrl is control but haven't a clue what the option keys is

any please tell me?

um, the one withthe word option on it if you have an apple keyboard...lol

it is between the control and command key

There is actually a difference between the UK and US keyboards. I can't think if the UK apple pro keyboards are the same, but on mu 12" powerbook from the UK it doesn't say option on the keys, it has a symbol instead, same goes for things like the shift and delete keys etc, they all have symbols and no words.

and control is all the way to the left on the bottom, command is next to the spacebar on both sides of it (left and right)
