I know many of you have been asking about when we might upgrade the forum software to version 3.5x. Well we just received word that the upgrade is currently slated to be completed over the next three weeks baring any complications.

Just wanted to share the current status and I'll update you as things progress.

The upgrade will involve some down time however it should be pretty brief, definitely not a whole day. More likely less than an hour.

Normally when the software is upgraded, schweb will give us an advance warning. In the past, it has taken only a couple of hours.

Will we be able to pick themes for the boards? What are some of the new features?

For new features you can check the vBulletin site. As for themes, only the Mac-Forums theme will be an option.
