Is XP OEM usable for Boot Camp?

Buying Windows XP Operating System for my new iMac. Online sales much cheaper than Microsoft, of course. Many brand new offerings are for OEM software. Is there a material difference in OEM from what I buy at any regular store, or can I use it on the XP side of my dual-boot Mac?

i'm using an oem copy of xp pro and it works perfectly with boot camp.
