Can't get SELPHY CP400 working :(

Well mum tried on her new mac book, followed the instruction manual regarding installing it, I spent about 30 mins also trying & the mac see's the printer, but when we try to print the printer flashes a red led (usually blue flashing when printing) and the mac says it cannot detect the printer even though it is indeed plugged in

Any idea's??

Im going to go around there again tomorrow & have a go again....might have to call either the canon helpline OR apple helpline as Im not sure if it is the printer or mac that is at fault??

It seem it's only I-photo it can't print from.....works fine in word etc. am trying a un-install & re-installl of I-photo.
