Script to find last row in Numbers sheet and fill rows with formula

Hi all,

I'm an absolute newbie to Applescript.

I need to open an .xlsx workbook on the desktop with Numbers app, find the last row
of column B in sheet 1 and put a function in column C for all the rows.
The function is =(B2;"price"), =(B3;"price") ..... and so on to the last row.

It's a bit late (or early in the AM) for any replies, but hang on until the membership wakes up. We have a few of our members who are good with Excel and Numbers.

Have you tried the Mr. Excel help forum?
It's Windows-centric, but the solution is likely to be similar for the Mac version.

i looked at your question and I must admit that I don’t understand the problem.
You have already defined ( part of ) the solution by saying you need AppleScript and you need to open an excel sheet with the Numbers.app.
What made you decide that this is the way forward.

I am missing a few things .

Well, I read it too hastily. It's an excel file being opened in Numbers. Sorry, no suggestions.
