make Siri not pause the music

Whenever I use siri on the mac, it always pauses the music playing. Is it possible to make Siri not pause the music? Perhaps it could just lower the volume of music like google maps does when it provides directions?

Nope, Siri has to listen, so it shuts down all output while it's listening and speaking. Once done, it picks up again. Google maps can do what it does because it's not listening, just talking.
