create an animated line drawing video

Hi I want to create an animated line drawing video with my WACOM or UGEE graphic tablet - drawing line by line to create a final 2D line drawing picture and video - that becomes finally the product as a real picture (with no animation no 3D) - I think screen recording is not the solution because of the complex drawings - any tool (maybe freeware) that would be helpful to create something like this - sounds easy but I am not a profi ....THANKS

Why don't you think screen recording is the solution? Is it because you plan to draw at a resolution greater than that of the screen?

An app like Ink2Go allows you to record your work from within the app.

If you have a drawing tool of choice it may have something similar
