Hello everyone :)

I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro and would like to replace the battery (it has a cycle count of around 600) but I'm not really sure how to go about it. I believe this model provides an easier/friendlier means of battery replacement than later models but I'm wondering what would be the best way to do it. I was told to get a special type of screwdriver also but there seem to be all different kinds on offer and I don't want to make a mistake. So, my question is: how/where should I go in regards to replacing the battery on this model?

Thank you for readin my post

Welcome to the forum.

You want to visit ifixit.com and look for your particular MBP. They also sell the proper tools you might need at a reasonable price.
