Daylite and CRM for Mac advice

Hey everyone
I have been looking for a CRM and recently started using Daylite, on recommendation. Unfortunately I have found it to crash continuously and support to be mixed. I am just keen to know if this is a common experience (and accordingly whether I should persist with Daylite and hope this issue is just an anomaly with my user account) or a general problem.

If the latter, any other recommendations please?!?

I have a Mac user group for attorneys. Quite a few attorneys use Daylite as practice management software, and none of them have reported having stability problems, so I highly doubt that it is at all "normal."

Attorneys tend to like Daylite because it is inexpensive compared to dedicated law office management software, but ironically they usually find that they can't do without an expensive consultant to set the program up so that it is functional enough for their needs and to teach them to use it.

Note that Daylight isn't a "CRM" program. It is a high-end personal information manager (PIM), or a low-ish end business management program.

What is it exactly that you are looking to do? If you are unable to make Daylite work, I can give you a long list of actual CRM programs, if that is what you really want. Or, if you instead want a business management app/PIM, have a look at:

That you for your message Randy (and also clarification of what a PIM is!) Daylite's functionality is great, and it is perfect form needs. The problem is that it does not work! Based on your feedback I will persist a while longer and hope they sort out the stability/crashing issues. At the same time I also hope they decide to improve their responsiveness and feedback to customers as these have been poor.

Thanks Again Randy - it looks good: like a mini ERP system with integrated financials. Cross platform functionality also useful (albeit we are 100% Apple now) I may take a teat drive and see how it integrates with Mail and Calendar on the Mac... and if the support is good it's probably worth shifting from Daylite just for that reason alone!
