Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have a Canon wireless printer that was working fine with my Mac Book Pro, then I changed my internet provider. Now I can't get it to connect to the new router; My Mac finds it but it is 'offline' or 'idle'. I have tried everything I can think of. Has anyone else had this problem? Obviously the problem is'n't with the Mac but I should be grateful if anyone can help.

Many thanks in advance

Welcome to our forums.

I've had the same problem with my Canon printer also. It's best to remove the printer, install it again according to the Canon instructions. The Canon instructions will take you thru the wireless setup. What's happening is that since you have a new internet provider, the IP address has changed so the printer can not find the internet. You will have to attach your Canon via USB to set it up again and run thru the installation.
