iPhone sounds notifications problem

I'm not getting any notifications from my apps - even the emergency alerts. Is this an issue with the iPhone 6

All sounds keep disappearing. Only vibrate works. Sometimes reboot helps but then sounds disappear again. Totally unreliable??????

My iPhone 6 still gives me sounds and emergency alerts. How are you doing the reboot? Do you make backups to iTunes or iCloud?
