Viewing videos on windows and mac

Hi,

Im viewing mp4 videos on windows with no issues whatsoever. However if i copy that video onto a hard drive or google drive/dropbox, then view it on my mac, the video goes green?

Any help would be appreciated.

You didn't really provide us with much to go on. Which Mac (year and model) and what version of OS X are you using? Also, which program on your Mac are you using to display the video? You can view an MP4 video with Quicktime, iTunes, and a third party application "VLC" which is free and can be downloaded from here.

Did you copy the video file to your Macs internal drive?
