WiFi Security

I am using and AAris TG862 Modem with macOS Sierra . The system tells my security is WAP and should be WPA2. How do I chance this security?

To answer your question..... Security encryption is changed by accessing your router modem internal menu. Check your manual to learn how, or contact your modem router supplier.

My modem is supplied by Woway, I do not have a manual. I guess I need to contact Woway.

Hi Bob - assume that you have the modem shown below - correct? If so, the manual can be found HERE - just pick the 'Quick Guide' for your model, then look up the security settings; BTW, the correct eponym is WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), and WPA2 is what is recommended. Dave :)
