    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. I am working on a movie project and have added many music clips. As always in the past I have been reviewing the movie as I progress and the music has been playing as usual but I just ran a review of the final project and suddenly some of the music clips are silent Most of them play but a few do not). The green bars are there on all the clips but some of them are silent in playback.

Suggestions will be appreciated

I've had the same on occassion. One of these should work:

Quit, restart iMovie.
Delete then reinsert the audio.
Start a new Project.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried a restart and also deleting and adding the audio back. Neither worked. Surprisingly I have 11 tracks on the video and only 4 fail to play (they all played earlier in the project). Like you this has happened to me once before and I had to recreate the project from scratch, a real pain. I can't believe this happens for no apparent reason.

Thanks for your help
