photo app's

Hello
So I upgraded to Sierra, now I'm having trouble with "preview", it sometimes will not
import from my Iphone all the pictures and just closes the window.. at least 5 reports have been
sent to Apple.
So in "Photo's" APP I have a folder I do not want, but I can not delete it. I have tried, right click
there is no delete, highlight and hit delete, that does not work.
Is there a way to delete this folder?

What is the name of the folder? Is it part of the app?

You should use Image Capture to get the pictures off the iPhone on to your Mac.

Now why would I know that? Apple had like 5 different Apps for image "capture" or download or whatever...
No the folder is mine. It contains many folders of car shows.
