Camera won't close after iPad Air update yesterday

I haven't upgraded yet, but the usual first step in circumstances like yours is to do a hard reboot - hold down the Home and Power buttons together and let the iPad restart.
Please report back. Also, you might mention which iPad you have and perhaps also indicate whether you have the latest iTunes. Presuming you have a Mac, which OS and do you have backups?
If my suggestion doesn't work, we can take things from there with this additional info.
