problems with selfie-stick

Hi everyone!
Friends gave me a selfie-stick. My phone does not see it. I have an iPhone 4s. On other models it works. Do you think the problem in connector or selfie-stick?:Confused:

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
What kind of connector does the selfie stick have? Your 4s does not have a lightning connector like the newer iPhones. And since it works with other phones, it may not be compatible with your 4s.

2011 27" iMac, 1TB(partitioned) SSD, 20GB, OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan
Maybe check with the selfie-stick manufacturer for your iPhone model compatibility.

The specs should be provided and I'd sure give them heck if they aren't.

I agree! I am more inclined to think that the case in the type of connector! I need to start looking for an adapter. well, or change the phone finally :Oops:
