Trouble with setting up custom Signatures in email

Okay...so I have set up my signature in Preferences and copied it to my different email accounts, but in testing the signature in emails I sent...they do not appear as I built them in preferences. What am I missing?

Can you give us a little more detail? Are you working with a Mac or an iOS device? What operating system? What program? What's "different" about how they appear in the email messages as opposed to in preferences?

Had to do with changing from plain text to rich text in Composing under preferences.
