Hi im not educated with i cloud and recently had my hard drive replaced on my macbook pro. Im running el capitan, and am trying to download my photos from iCloud to my macbook. theres 23 gig of data to download and I'm only 700mb in. does anyone know if i can view the data downloaded so far as I'm on pre paid and all my credit will get chewed up.

Once a file has completely download you should be able to view that file on your Mac by opening it as you would any other file. Simply go to the place on your Mac where you saved the file and open it from there. The only issue I can see is if you saved the files in something like a disk image file with several pictures in it. Then you will have to wait till that disk image downloads.

As our moderator has said... and buy more pre-paid air time. You're gonna need it. ;)
