Transferring Music from one mac to another

Hi guys:
Some years ago, I transferred (ripped) 100 of my favorite CDs via iTunes on my iMac, which is now growing a bit long in the tooth. Is there a way to transfer that music from my iMac to my Macbook pro? Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks much Raz0rEdge. Will give it a try. I know the purchased music will transfer but I'm hoping my ripped CDs will also transfer intact.

As long as you make sure you move all the relevant folders, everything you ripped from CDs will be fine. You could even keep them on an external drive - it's pretty handy for taking your collection on the move, and freeing up space on your internal hard drive!
