I have some songs in my iTunes that were not downloaded from the iTunes store, and I can't figure out how to put them on my iPhone. I hate that you're no longer able to just drag them, and I can't figure out how to sync it.

Add the songs to your iTunes library in mp3 format. Check only those songs you want to sync to your iPhone and the ones to remain on your iPhone, and then press sync, apply. (make sure your iPhone is attached to your Mac and backup first before doing any syncing.) Also be sure to check that you want to manually manage your music and videos.

Thanks, turns out I just needed to select the manually manage option.
