How can I make EMU 1212 studio audio sound card to work with Apple desktop

You don't give us much to work with but I will assume you are referring to a classic Mac Pro when you say apple desktop. The new black Mac Pro does not have PCIe slots. The other issue would be the drivers which are listed for Windows only - and it looks like the last version offered is Vista although I imagine Windows 7 would work. That would require using bootcamp or Parallels for Mac to run Windows on a mac.
So if you are wanting to know compatibility - it should work if you use windows. There are a lot of people who do but if you are going to use this setup a lot why not use a PC? Once you load Windows on a Mac the problem of malware is the same as on a PC. Unless you just want superior hardware.
