I am currently running a 23 inch model year 1999 Apple Cinema Display on my G4 Mirror.

I want to buy and use an Apple Mac Pro 2x 2.26GHz Quad-Core (8 Cores) Xeon (Early 2009) MB535LL/A.

Will my old Cinema Display hook up and run on the Mac Pro?

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Well it depends on how the Cinema display connects. An ADC (Aple Direct Connect) will require an expensive and old adapter unit to get power, signal and USB to the display. Would not suggest this as the technology, and units, are last century and mine sure failed. A cinema display with DVI will connect subject to the graphics card on the Mac Pro. From meory of my Mac Pro days the cardcomes with a dual link DVI.
