Hello everyone,

Video editing software recommendations? I love iMovie but of course I know there is better out there? I know Final Cut is there... Yes or No?

FCPX is highly optimized for the Mac platform and can edit 4K H264 video with decent performance on newer Macs. If you need more performance you can use the built-in proxy mode which transcodes to 1/4 res files. The entire process is seamless and integrated.

I've used FCP and it is very nice, like a super-advanced iMovie, so that would be my recommendation. However, that's not to say that alternatives like Adobe Premiere are inferior.
