Audacity problems after update...

Very Stange been using Audacity on my dual core mac mini for at least a month. My audacity (1.30 beta) is either not responding when opening or it opens without any editing window and will crash if you hit record or fiddle with any of the editing buttons.

I noticed I have not really used it since the osx 10.4.6 update. You think the two are connected. Then I read when I try to re download the app. it says audacity is really not made for Intel macs right now...

Anyone got any feedback or help on this..?
