hi rez photos in XL

I have detailed XL files of two collections i own.
i now want to add hi rez photos to each item.
what is the best way to keep the photo full rez but in a small cell box...so someone can click on it to see photo.
thanks for any help...i'm a monkey when it comes to this stuff.

After re-reading your post about a dozen times, I'm beginning to suspect you mean Excel, as in a spreadsheet?
