How do I get a detailed Exif like this?

Hi,
How do I get a detailed Exif such as the one I paste below? When I tried to get Exif of an image on my Mac, it only showed simplified information. What I really need is "Image Unique ID" (shown below) for checking camera actuation. Thanks for your help.

Open your image in Preview, then select Tools, then Show Inspector and view the Exif tab.

My Preview is nt working, its icon is on bottom shelf, when I go to application, its missing

What happens if you click on the Applications icon in your dock (not bottom shelf, it's called the "dock")? Do you see the Preview application there? If it's not in the Applications folder you may have moved it somewhere else. Preview can not be deleted as it's a protected system application.

Yes its on the dock but not in application folder in finder, found it and when click, its not working, I left click it and click Quick Look Preview, it open but thats it cannot click on it

Don't put Applications anywhere but in the Application folder. Move Preview from wherever you put it to the Application folder.

OK, I did what you said, I left click and click Remove from Dock expect it to be put back to Application folder. Went to application folder and tried clicking Review and does nt work. went to Edit trying to undo but could nt so where would it go??

I have a couple of questions that I haven't seen in the thread yet. Ignore me if you have answered them and I missed it somehow.

1. You mentioned that you have Preview in the Applications folder and it is not working. Is it in the main Application folder with most/all of the other applications or is it in a folder by itself or just a few things?
2. If you single click Preview and press command i an info window appears. In the name and extension section of that window is the extension listed as .app or is it something else?

Yes its in folder with all applications.Single click holding command doesn't do anything

Let's look for Preview. Click on the magnifying glass in the upper top right corner of your screen. That's called "Spotlight". When it opens, type in Preview.app and press return. If Preview is anywhere on your Mac Spotlight will find it and open it for you. It will also tell you where it is.

"Remove from Dock" does not magically return applications back to the Applications folder. That's just a shortcut, not the actual app. Locate where you moved the actual Preview app, and put it back in the Applications folder where it belongs.

Magnifying shows No Results?? **** I could not find it anywhere

If spotlight does not see any application called "preview," you have deleted it. That is going to be very difficult to fix.

I believe chas_m is correct, although I don't know how you may have accidentally deleted it? Regardless of how it disappeared, you will need to reinstall OS X in order to get Preview back. Which version of OS X are you currently using?

Something is off kilter a bit here. I didn't think it was possible to delete Preview. Isn't it, much like Safari, highly integrated into the OS.

If you're sure that Preview is missing and deleted, then as I stated above, you'll need to reinstall El Capitan to get it back. You need to download and install the El Capitan combo update. It includes all you need and will not erase or remove any of your data. Download it from Apple here.
