"All My Files" in Finder really cluttered

Hi all,

In Finder, in the "All My Files" tab, it looks like a random collection of literally every single file on my Macbook, not even in folders: just the individual files. It seems cluttered and messy. Is there any way to clean this up?

Use the various View(menu) options and Arrange by… options to, get various views and yup, sort orders…

That's why it's called "All My Files" and why I find it to be really useless - at least if you put your data away where it should be instead of just keeping stuff willy nilly in your downloads folder, desktop, etc. I've not found a good reason to ever look at that view in Finder.

Agree with others, and also turned it off. Why on Earth would you need or want to stare at thousands of files?
