Video clips

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the mac world. My wife uses mac for her graphics but does not know the working. When I'm online and I try to watch a video clip of something, I get some message about it being a mime file and I don't have the plug-in. I downloaded Real Player and get the same results.
Any help would be great! I'm running a G4.

QuickTime should play that id have thought. I guess you have QuickTime installed? If so, try a reinstall, might fix any problems you are having.
