Does anyone remember the name of the free app or link that enables one to, when running the cursor over the password box on a particular page, see the actual password...and not the dots.

You can set your Keychain app to do that. (Applications, Utilities, Keychain.app) I don't remember if a third party app exists that does the same thing. Maybe someone else might remember one.

DO NOT download it from there unless you are keen on trying out some malware! Make a note of the developer's site and get it from them, or the Mac App Store, or MacUpdate.com.
