Hello

With all the new apple product upgrades coming out I'm thinking of doing some upgrades myself. I have a macbook pro from september 2013, an regular ipad from 2014, apple tv and an iphone 5 (i want to sell for money) iphone 6 (I'd like more memory)

Obviously I don't have the means to upgrade all my products but I've heard about trade ins and selling them online but I have no idea where to start. Could you recommend the best course of action, best place to sell and best asking prices I'd really appreciate it. I'm no techie lol

thanks

You can sell your items by advertising in any one of your local papers or "green sheet". There is also "Craig's List" and eBay. However, a warning... As a new seller, beware of buyers who would scheme you and try to get hold of your items without paying or deceive you into thinking they're paying you. As for asking prices, compare what sellers are asking on eBay and your local Craig's List.

No reason to so the MacBook Pro or the iPad, the newer models are not significantly improved enough to warrant the hassle and cost of selling and then re-buying.

Ebay and Craig's List are your best options to maximize the cash you receive. If you go the trade-in route or selling online to a used electronics place…many times you receive a lot less $$$ than selling it yourself.

Have to agree with chas_m. No need to replace your MPB and iPad yet.
