Comcast Email connect with IMAP

iMac 27" 2.8GHz Core i7 4GB; MacBook Pro 13.3" Core i5 4GB
Using Apple Mail Version 8.2 with 2 Desktops on Yosemite and 2 iPhones on Version 8.4. Currently on POP connection with Comcast and would like to convert to IMAP to facilitate synchs.
Help please.

You're going to need to access the Comcast instructions for setting up an IMAP account. Most ISPs have their own set of rules and procedures which you need to use in order to get things working correctly. Here is a link to the Comcast Instructions. Note that the instructions are for Mavericks and iOS 7 but they have not changed.
