You can no longer go to View > Show View Options to enable showing the hidden library folder. Every discussion I seem to find about this on Google refers back to this outdated fix. Any help?

You can hold down option while clicking the Go menu for a temporary fix. For a more permanent fix (until you update OS X), execute the following in a Terminal window:
Code:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/

Odd, it shows on mine just fine. Have you ever done the hack to show it in an earlier version of the OS?
I've been told that removes the option.

Yeah, I think I did use a terminal command in an earlier OSX. How curious that removes it from Yosemite.

However, Vansmith's command worked like magic. Thanks!
