• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I was working on a project and suddenly iMovie went kind of blank and now looks like the attached screenshot. I have tried quitting and restarting the program, restarting my computer, etc.

When I hit the space bar the movie still plays in it's entirety but it won't respond to anything else.

I have tried opening other projects in iMovie and initially they open but then quickly turn into this. When I hit the space bar after opening a different project it plays back the movie I was editing when this happened in the first place.

I went to try and delete the plist files as suggested by multiple forums but I cannot find them, they are not in library/preferences on my computer.

Could it be a corrupted file? Any other ideas?
