Simply blow your mac.
You will need to take the cover off the bottom and give it a few good hard blows around the circuit board.
Job done.
My keyboard and trackpad was lagging and after looking up solutions on my phone all I could read was some usb cable migth have come un done which I could not find, so after blowing some dust and that off . Voila!
Here I am giving my all time solution.
