Verizon changed login security protocols and now I am no longer able to access my verizon email from mac mail. I AM able to access the emails through the verizon home page. The verizon account is mature and only stopped working recently. I attempted to create a new mail account but was unsuccessful. "Unable to connect to server" error message. Running Yosemite 10.10.3. No problem accessing gmail account.

The problem with Verizon email today was not due to them changing any port numbers or email server names or passwords. Both incoming and outgoing Verizon email was down for about an hour nationwide this morning. Everyone was having problems!
