Hi,

My pc can see my mac shares, but my mac can't see my pc shares, infact it says the ip is wrong or not working. Yet my PCs on my network can see eachothers shares. I hope its some software thing i've missed? Is there an option that must be done on the pc to enable macs to see it?

Windows Networking

Open System Preferences and click on the Sharing Folder. Be sure Windows Networking is checked as well as Personal File Sharing. That should work.

Thank you. All that is checked.

The PC can still see the shares (document folder) on the mac.
When I go to connect to server and put in the ip of my pc (which pings ok on my mac) I get this message: "The server may not exist or is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and try again".

Any ideas?
