    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.

I want to try and get the audio and title text to start, and then roughly 5 seconds later, I'd like the first video clip to start, although whenever I try to drag the video clip to the right, it just snaps back to the beginning of the movie. I would ideally like to get the video clip to start playing where the white line is in the image below...

I've detached and deleted the clip audio and added my own track.

Can anyone help me achieve this please?

Hi

I think you may be doing things in the wrong order, if I understand the issue.

Begin by adding a title with your chosen duration of 5 secs. Then add in your footage. Cut the audio from it and add your own.

Hopefully that will work for you. Let us know.

Thanks for the reply. I sorted it by doing what you said, but also adding a second title (before the main title), with no text so it's simply a black screen pause.
