Just recently (in the last two days) I have lost two replies I wrote because the site timed me out. I have just changed browsers from Chrome to Opera but I cant see how that would matter (correct me if I'm wrong). It was never a problem in the past but who knows. It means I now have to copy my posts/replies to the clipboard just in case I have to log in again.

Sorry, I think I may have found the answer. Had to log out first then tick the "Remember Me" box when logging in.
It's been so long since I did that I forgot there was such a button. I was looking for a "Keep me logged in" button instead. Could someone confirm if this was the issue.
And please excuse me if I posted in the wrong forum.:[

That sounds like it. I usually tick that on all my forums so I wont get kicked off (although one in particular pretty much ignores the setting)[coughBikeForumscough].

Thanks for that confirmation. I guess I just hadn't logged out for so long I forgot where the button was. One good reason for changing browsers occasionally I guess.
Thanks for the feedback crandom.

Oops sorry, I'm not good with names I'm more of a numbers person. Didn't understand the reference to permalink. Anyway login seems to stay on now. Hotlinks from email take me to the forum already signed in.:Cool:

Didn't understand the reference to permalink.
Referencing your signature.
To give someone reputation you don't use the permalink, you use the icon button (blue arrow).
For some reason I can only attach one pic? Odd.

Um, now I'm really confused. My page doesn't have that at all. Mine looks like this: Screen Shot 2015-02-25 at 7.28.55 pm.png

Hm, odd, I logged out then back in and now I have this;
I swear it was never like that before. Maybe I should go back to Chrome or learn a little more about Ghostery?

You must be using a different skin. I'm using "MF-Test-4-18-13"

Hmm, obviously not.
Back to the drawing board, funny how the little things throw you. I was just trying to put a pic of the Add To Rep button in my signature but must be getting tired. Will fix tomorrow.
Thanks everyone.
