So I was researching for information and I clicked on a potential answer at Tom's Hardware. I have been on that site a number of times over many years. Today I got this warning. I assume it was because I severely limit javascript or Ghostery or Adware Pro stopped something.

Anyway being brave(?) and sure I was at the right site, I entered the captcha and when on to the main page. Interestingly the article I wanted had opened already opened. The suspicious tab opened second. So the question remains - was it a redirect? Not sure but I have never had that happen or seen that screen.

Ideas? Opinions?

Lisa

Limiting or turning off Javascript can get interesting when accessing certain sites - as you found out. ;D BTW, Tom's Hardware site is always an interesting place to visit although I admit I don't go there much since I gave up on PCs.
