I am relatively new to Mac system computers, and wireless service. I have a MacBook Pro. I have been having to spend a lot of time at my father's condo to look after him. I thought his wireless service was Xfinitiy, so I opened their log in, and then found my Dad had other service. Now, the Xfinity log in portal keeps popping up. It is also very persistent, repeatedly changing my wifi setting to Xfinity. What do I do to get rid of this?

What browser are you using? What is your version of OS X? Without knowing any of that I would suggest you start by turning off your wifi and then clearing your browser cache. Also check to see if any extensions were added to your browser and disable anything connected to Xfinity.
