Howdy all,

Well the subject says it. I have an Air Port Time Capsule. Time Machine has been working well for a year. On Jan 1 (?) it wanted to delete all previous backups and create a new baseline. I OK'd it. It worked until Jan 8 which was the last successful backup.

I've searched the forum and another user had a similar problem. He verified his disks, found and error, fixed it and TM worked.

I verified disks and found errors in one partition. I erased the partition and reformatted and replaced files. TM continues with the error. Another thread suggested looking at the logs. So here's a screenshot and some selected log items that mean nothing to me because I'm OS X stupid. :)

Oh, the backup drive has almost 1TB available.

Looking for ideas please? Thank you

It seems that there was an underlying I/O error. How is the drive attached?

The backup drive is an Apple AirPort Time Capsule. It's pretty much a 2TB NAS & wi-fi thingie.

I'd try with an ethernet cable. Could be network failed in an unrecoverable manner I suppose.
