I have a Seagate GoFlex 3tb external drive that all the sudden stopped working correctly. I was able to get all files off the drive.
I am trying to reformat it using Disk Utilities Mac OS Extended
I tried to erase the entire disk with no luck and then each partition, no luck.
Disk Verification Error:
"This disk doesn't contain an EFI systme partition. If you want to start up you computer with the disk or include it in a RAID set, back up your data and partition this disk"
So I'm not too sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?
Drive is just a little over 1 year old. : (
