My IMac is frozen on blank start screen plz help

I don't know what to do. It's just blank, no startup noise, no apple logo. Blank. I do not have an install disk because one didn't come with the computer, don't ask me why it wasn't , I just didn't get one, and I don't know what is wrong, please help me!

ok we need some information please.

What type of macintosh??

Powerpc / intel

What o.s was it running

and the color of the machine white silver aluminum this helps narrow down model type
