I have a Ricoh SP 210su printer and I am using Mountain Lion. When I connected the printer, Mac detected it and I configured it with Generic PCL 6 driver. However, when I fire a printout, it streams the document and after sometime says "finished printing...", but nothing gets printed. Do I need a different driver? I tried installing the driver for Ricoh printers that Apple provides (http://support.apple.com/kb/dl902) and tried configuring the printer, but could not find my model from the list of models supported. Is there any other way of making the printer work with Mac?

Without a specific driver for your Ricoh, it's probably not going to work right with your Mac. Your printer is not listed by Apple which means there is no driver available, however, you can try other drivers for Ricoh printers which are similar to yours. Sometimes that works, sometimes not. In the end, you may be better off getting a new printer, one that is supported in OS X.
