Could someone please let me know how to change the Read Only status of one of my firewire partitions?
The other one is fine but when I use Apple+I to change the status - the Read and Write option is greyed out.

Thank you.

First make sure you hit the little lock icon underneath to authenticate your username before adjusting the permissions...

If that doesn't work...

Did you format ever it on a PC running XP? It could have made it into an NTFS partition which is read-only on OSX.

Thank you - that did the trick.
