Need help connecting guitar to garageband

I have a macbook pro retina late 2012 so I don' have a line in port.

I can't buy a usb cable so I can't use that. I am only a kid so buying an interface or something like that isn't an option, any help?

If you don't have a line in, then your only option is something that connects via USB, FireWire, or Thunderbolt. Many cheap interfaces on the market. However, for a guitar, the interface needs to have a DI input as connecting a guitar to a normal line input on the interface won't work.
