Gen 3 iPad - fully updated to latest iOS.
Mac Mini - fully updated to Yosemite.

I have been using home sharing for years with no problems. But I just upgraded my Mac Mini - which is where I store all of my media - to Yosemite. Since doing so I have not been able to get my iPad to connect to home sharing. It shows that it is connected in settings but when I open the video app and tap on shared and then my library the progress bar/circle will only progress to 50% and then stop.

I have restarted everything multiple times and turned home sharing on and off but I just can't figure it out.

Did Yosemite somehow break my home sharing? That is the only thing that has changed since it was last working.

Mac Mini 2011 i5 2.3/8GB, MBPr 15 2013 with i7/16GB both running El Capitan
I haven't tried Home Sharing with my iPad but it does work successfully with both my Apple TV 2 and 3.

So it's not completely broken in Yosemite.
