Well, I finally did it. I brought myself a brand new iMac 20" from the Apple store in Bluewater shopping centre.

I just have to say that I love this machine already and I have only had it running for the last hour.

No doubt I will be back on here soon asking questions.

So far so good. I have managed to get it to do everything that I want it to without having to open the help folder yet. I'm impressed with myself.

hey man nice I also just got a new 20" intel imac and its awesome I find everything is much brighter and nicer on a mac.

LOL. That just struck me as funny. I remember talking to a friend's wife one time...she was talking about how her son was doing well in pre-school, and she came out with "I think it's just that he's smarter and better looking than the other kids." ;) Your baby is always better than other people's.

True that! OP, congrats on your purchase. I got my wife a 20" iMac Intel last week for her birthday; the screen is amazing. Crystal clear, bright, excellent viewing angles, and is great for watching DVD movies :) I don't think it's locked up on us once yet. Really great machine!
